Twist Fibre Festival

Francine (of Fancy That) and I had a great time being a vendor at the first Twist Fibre Festival in Saint-Andre-Avellin on August 25 & 26th. We met lots of people including other indie dyers and fibre artists and we are already looking forward to next year. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to check out our booth.

A special thank you to Natalie of Natalie Servant Designs who kindly allowed us to sell her patterns at our booth as well.

There were more than 60 venders at this event and they represented a variety of different handcrafts so there was lots to see. I wish now that I had taken more time to visit the other booths. I did get a picture of a circular knitting machine being used to hand-cranked out some socks. Francine took a lot more pictures than I did. Natalie has posted pictures of several booths in her blog post here.

I will create another blog post about the lovely B&B we stayed in that had attached gardens in Ripon, Quebec and another post about my purchases at the Twist Fibre Festival.
