Lavender Fields Shawl Kit
My Mom bought this Lavender Fields Shawl Kit (picture on the right) from me in early June. The kit contained the Lavender Fields Shawl pattern by Natalie Servant, 1 skein of my BFL/Silk Select Lace in the Persian Violets colourway and 1 grey fresh-water pearl shawl pin made by Fancy That – Creations by Francine.
She finished it and had it blocked in time for me to use as a sample at the Ottawa Knitting Guild’s vendors night on October 15th (thank you, Mom). To get a shawl of this size, she knit 5 repeats of Chart B (main chart) before moving on to Chart C (the edging chart). I think that it turned out beautiful especially since she is fairly new to lace knitting.
