My Childeric’s Bees

I started my Childeric’s Bees shawl while I was in Halifax and I managed to finish and block it in time to display it as a sample in my booth at the Twist Fibre Festival in August. I knit my Bees shawl using my Yvieknits Merino Light Fingering in the Cosmopolitan colourway. I used approximately 440 m out of the 685 m in the skein to knit the shawl as written (14 bees) but I am a slightly tight knitter. Natalie’s patterns are always a joy to knit as they are well written and interesting.
Natalie includes charts and written instruction in all her patterns plus information about how to customize the size of the shawl and about using different yarn weights.

I just added a Childeric’s Bees shawl kit to my website in the kits section which contains the pattern, 1 skein of Yvieknits Yarn Merino Light Fingering in the Marmalade colourway, and 1 copper S-shaped shawl pin. I will be adding two skeins of the Merino Light Fingering in the Cosmopolitan colourway to my website shortly (skeins are currently drying).
