Tulips
The annual Ottawa Tulip Festival is currently underway so my Mom and I took the bus downtown yesterday afternoon. We had a lesiurely lunch in the market area and then we headed over to Major’s Hill Park which is one of the main tulip bed sites.
Here are a few of the pictures that I took of the colourful tulip beds there including a picture of my Mom by the tulips.
We went up the hill and sat for awhile under the shade of a tree enjoying the view of the tulip beds below and I managed to get a few rows done on my plain vanilla socks. It was a lovely but hot afternoon.
